Pecan Pie Recipe
3 ea eggs,beaten 1 c sugar 1 t vanilla 1 c light (or dark corn syrup) 2 T margarine,melted 1 T tennessee whiskey 1 1/2 c pecans,whole 1 9 ea pastry shell,unbaked
In bowl, stir together first 6 ingredients until well blended. Stir in nuts. Pour into pastry shell. Bake at 350 for 50 to 55 minutes. Cool before serving.

Pecan Streusel Cake **streusel** 1 c brown sugar 1 c pecans,chopped 1/4 c flour 3 T margarine,melted 1 t orange zest **cake** 1/2 c margarine 1/2 c sugar 3 ea eggs 1 t orange zest 1/2 t vanilla 2 c flour 1 t baking powder 2/3 c orange juice 1 t soda **glaze** 1/2 c confectioner's sugar 2 1/2 t orange juice
In a large bowl, beat margarine and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs 1 at a time. Beat in zest and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients. Add alternately with orange juice. Spoon half of batter into a greased 9" tube pan. Top with half streusel. Top with remaining batter and streusel. Bake at 350 for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool in pan. Drizzle with glaze.

Pepper Steak 1/2 c oleo 2 lb beef steak,cut in strips 1/4 t garlic salt 1/2 c onions,chopped 2 green peppers,cut in strips 1 lb tomatoes,canned 1 beef boullion cube,crushed 1 T cornstarch 1/4 c water 3 T soy sauce 1 t sugar 1 t salt
In skillet melt oleo, add beef strips and sprinkle w/garlic salt. Saute. Stirring occasionally until browned. Remove meat from pan, add onions & peppers, saute for 2 minutes. Return meat along w/tomatoes and boullion. If using round steak, simmer 30-40 minutes. Blend cornstarch, water, soysauce, sugar & salt, add to meat mixture to thicken, stirring constantly. Cook 2 additional minutes. Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
