Thanksgiving Cherry Cider Recipe
INGREDIENTS: 2 quarts apple cider 1 (3 inch) cinnamon stick 1 (3 ounce) package cherry gelatin
DIRECTIONS: Bring cider and cinnamon stick to a boil in a saucepan. Reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes. Add gelatin; cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes or until gelatin is dissolved. Serve warm.
Coffee Liqueur
INGREDIENTS: 4 cups white sugar 4 cups water 3/4 cup instant coffee granules 2 tablespoons vanilla extract 4 cups vodka
DIRECTIONS: In a 3 quart saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar and water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in instant coffee, and allow to cool. When cool, stir in vanilla extract and vodka. Pour into clean bottles. Close bottles tightly, and store in a cool dark place.
Cranberry Pineapple Juice
INGREDIENTS: 1 (64 fluid ounce) bottle cranberry juice, chilled 1 (46 fluid ounce) can pineapple juice 1 (8 ounce) can pineapple tidbits 1 cup cranberries
DIRECTIONS: In a punch bowl, combine cranberry juice and pineapple juice. Stir in pineapple tidbits and cranberries. Serve with ice.
